It started with a friend. He managed a busy workshop in Accra and every time we caught up, the conversation always turned to the same frustrations — lost job cards, parts that vanished from the shelf, hours burned chasing updates instead of fixing cars. He loved the work, but the chaos was wearing him down.

One evening we sat down, really talked it through, and mapped out everything that was broken. Not just his shop — workshops everywhere were fighting the same battles with pen-and-paper systems and software that felt like it was built for someone else.

That conversation became a plan, and the plan became OttoWorks. We set out to build the tool he always wished he had — something simple enough for his front desk, smart enough to keep the owner informed, and rugged enough for the workshop floor. Every feature exists because a real workshop needed it.
